RR Eye Shield

METAL EYE SHIELD:
  • Introducing the Rhino Eye Shield, a vital part of your first aid kit. Also known as the Rhino screen, this perforated metal screen is lightweight, malleable, and designed to protect an injured or postoperative eye. It's made from durable aluminium alloy and weighs just 8 grams, making it easy to carry and apply when needed.
  • The white protective cloth cover that accompanies the shield is there to enhance comfort for the wearer. The last thing you want when dealing with an eye injury is additional discomfort, and we've taken that into account in our design. It's important to note that the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Guidelines for Tactical Field Care recommend using a rigid eye shield, like our Rhino Eye Shield, to cover the eye in the event of a penetrating eye injury.
  • Pressure patches are not recommended. If a penetrating eye injury is suspected, a rapid field test of visual acuity should be performed before covering the eye with the Rhino Eye Shield. When it comes to eye injuries, immediate response is crucial. That's why our Rhino Eye Shield is a must-have addition to your first aid kit. Be prepared, be safe, and protect your vision with Rhino.
